For the Groundhog Day Challenge on DPW. Oil on board (20x20cm) - NFS.
A German legend has it that if a furry rodent sees his shadow on February 2, called Groundhog Day, winter will last another six weeks. If not, spring comes early.
I painted this whilst on holiday and it took me a while to post on my blog. I'm just getting settled and back into the rhythm of things.
